Oppo has made a significant leap in the smartphone market by launching its latest flagship series, featuring the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and Find X8s+. Released on April 10, these new models boast cutting-edge technology and premium specifications, although they are currently only available for purchase in China.
The Find X8 Ultra is the standout model of the series, equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Its camera system features four impressive 50 MP rear lenses, and it showcases a stunning 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. The device is fueled by a robust 6,100 mAh battery, which is a 20% increase from its predecessor, and supports lightning-fast 100W wired charging.
This flagship model comes in three elegant colors: Black, Pink, and White. Pricing starts at CNY 6,499 ($890) for the 12/256 GB variant, while the 16/512 GB model is priced at CNY 6,999 ($960). There is also a premium 16 GB + 1 TB version, available for CNY 7,999 ($1,100), which includes satellite connectivity.
The Find X8s+ model delivers slightly enhanced performance compared to the globally available Find X8 Pro, all within a compact and lightweight design. While it lacks the long telephoto camera and its main shooter is not as noteworthy as that of its Pro counterpart, it remains highly competitive in the compact smartphone market.
Pricing for the Find X8s+ starts at CNY 4,199 ($575) for the 12/256 GB variant. The 12/512 GB option is available for CNY 4,699 ($645), and the 16/512 GB model is priced at CNY 4,999 ($685). Additionally, a 16 GB + 1 TB model is offered at CNY 5,499 ($755), available in White or Black, with a Purple variant also available for other memory configurations.
Lastly, the Find X8s introduces a more compact smartphone option, featuring a sleek 7.7 mm profile and a 6.32-inch display. This model houses three 50 MP cameras on the rear and is powered by the same Dimensity 9400+ chipset as its X8s+ sibling. The battery supports 80W fast charging, giving it competitive performance at a more budget-friendly price.
