As highlighted by 9to5google, the new Wallet app features will alert users to estimated departure times and send timely notifications such as "Your train is delayed" directly to the lock screen of your smartphone. Additionally, it has been reported that users who have added loyalty passes manually can now seamlessly upgrade these passes to Wallet API integrated passes thanks to the introduction of the Loyalty Program Enrollment feature.
