The Launch of Motorola Edge 60 Stylus: An Affordable Mid-Range Marvel

Motorola has officially unveiled the Edge 60 Stylus, a mid-range smartphone that combines affordability with impressive features, including stylus support. Set to debut on April 23, this device is tailored for users who seek a budget-friendly alternative without compromising on quality. With a competitive price and robust specifications, the Edge 60 Stylus aims to carve out its niche in a crowded market.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features a built-in stylus. However, for those in regions like the US, there’s the significantly more affordable Moto G Stylus (2025). Additionally, in India, an even economically priced option from Motorola is making its entrance.

Is the Edge 60 Stylus Just a Rebranded Device?

No, it stands apart from the Edge 60 Fusion. The key distinction? The Edge 60 Stylus offers digital pen support—something its counterpart lacks.
Priced at Rs. 22,999 ($268), the Edge 60 Stylus is slightly cheaper than the Fusion, which retails for Rs. 24,999 ($291). In order to offer this lower price, Motorola made some trade-offs.

A noticeable change is the reduced screen curvature of the Edge 60 Stylus, resulting in a taller and wider form compared to the Edge 60 Fusion. Despite this difference, both devices maintain the same display size, resolution, and refresh rate.
A more significant compromise lies in the battery capacity, reduced from 5,500mAh to 5,000mAh, along with a slight weight increase from 180g to 191g due to the stylus feature. Interestingly, Motorola promises only two OS upgrades and three years of security updates for the Stylus, beneath what the Fusion offers.

Is the Price Right for the Edge 60 Stylus?

Absolutely. The phone boasts respectable specifications comparable to the Fusion, including 68W fast charging, 256GB of storage, 8GB of RAM, and a dual rear camera system with a 50MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera stands at a solid 32MP.
Aesthetically, the Edge 60 Stylus doesn't disappoint, featuring stylish designs with options like "Pantone Surf the Web" and "Pantone Gibraltar Sea." Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, the device aims to provide decent performance.

With a launch price of Rs. 22,999, the Edge 60 Stylus boasts remarkable value in India, although its availability in other markets remains uncertain. The Edge 60 Fusion, while unavailable in the US, is priced reasonably in European markets, hinting that the Stylus version may follow suit.
Although it's unlikely that this device will hit US markets, European users can anticipate a competitive price around €349 and £269 based on current trends.
