Celebrate a Decade of Apple Watch Activity Rings with a Special Limited-Edition Reward

As April 24 approaches, Apple commemorates a milestone by celebrating ten years of its innovative Activity rings feature on the Apple Watch. To mark this special occasion, Apple Watch users worldwide are invited to participate in a unique event aimed at promoting health and wellness.

On Global Close Your Rings Day, users who successfully unlock all three Activity rings can look forward to earning a specially designed limited-edition award. Participants will also receive ten animated stickers and a dynamic badge for Messages. Additionally, starting April 24, Apple Stores around the globe will be distributing a special commemorative pin inspired by the award, available while supplies last.

Recent research involving over 140,000 participants in the Apple Heart and Movement Study has revealed encouraging links between regularly closing Activity rings and improvements in sleep quality, heart health, and mental well-being. These findings are consistent across various demographics, including both genders and all age groups.

Compared to those who infrequently close their Activity rings, individuals who routinely achieve this feat are shown to have a 48% lower likelihood of experiencing poor sleep quality, a 73% reduction in elevated resting heart rates, and a 57% decrease in stress levels, as indicated by the Perceived Stress Scale-4 questionnaire.

While the correlation between consistent ring closures and improved health metrics may partly reflect a more active lifestyle among participants, it underscores the potential of Activity rings as a motivational tool for achieving health and fitness objectives. For those dedicated to their wellness journeys, this feature can be a valuable resource.
