The Exciting Reveal of Motorola Razr Plus (2025) on Geekbench Confirms Powerful Specifications

Motorola is gearing up to unveil its next generation of foldable phones with the Razr 60 series, slated for release on April 24. This eagerly anticipated lineup will also make its debut in the US under the name Razr (2025). Thanks to a slew of recent leaks, we already have an impressive glimpse into what to expect, and now some key specifications have been confirmed through Geekbench benchmarks.

The Razr Plus (2025) has just surfaced on Geekbench, revealing that it’s equipped with the robust Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, as previously speculated. This powerful chip positions the Razr Plus alongside the top contenders in the smartphone market, like the Galaxy S25, OnePlus 13, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. In the benchmark test, the device flaunted an impressive 16 GB of RAM, although a more powerful 18 GB variant might also be on the horizon. The gadget is also running on Android 15 and features the Adreno 830 GPU.

The upcoming phone was spotted on Geekbench.

With the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, Motorola’s clamshell phone finally enters the flagship arena. The current flagship Razr operates on the less potent Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is essentially a toned-down variant of its successor. Hence, this marks a significant leap in performance.

In comparison to Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7, which is rumored to utilize the Exynos 2500 chipset, Motorola appears to have the edge in terms of raw processing power.

Moreover, Motorola is hinting at some new AI capabilities, with leaks suggesting that the Razr Plus (2025) might come equipped with its own AI assistant. A newly observed button on the Razr 60 Ultra could potentially be related to this AI feature, or it may serve as a customizable shortcut similar to Apple’s Action Button found on the iPhone 15 Pro models and the upcoming iPhone 16 series.

As anticipation builds, it’s clear that the Razr Plus (2025) is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the foldable smartphone market.
