Oppo has unveiled its ambitious Agentic AI Initiative during the Google Cloud Next Conference 2025 in Las Vegas, marking a significant step towards revolutionizing AI experiences in the smartphone industry. At this three-day event, Oppo emphasized its commitment to in-house AI development and collaborations with Google to enhance user experiences across various domains.

Among the highlights of the conference was the introduction of AI Search—a cutting-edge, Google Cloud-powered AI tool designed to help users efficiently navigate and retrieve complex multimodal document information through natural language queries. Additionally, Oppo showcased its latest advancements in AI Productivity, AI Imaging, and AI Creativity to further enhance user engagement.

According to Jason Liao, President of the Oppo Research Institute, "Our emphasis on user-centric innovation drives us to push the boundaries of AI experiences. We aim to forge meaningful partnerships, like the one with Google Cloud, to bring Agentic AI capabilities closer to our users."

Looking ahead, Oppo is committed to developing more tailored Agentic AI experiences that prioritize personalization for each user. A new user knowledge system is also in the works, which will act as a centralized hub for user data, addressing the prevalent information fragmentation challenge across mobile devices. This system will learn from user activities, preferences, and memories to provide uniquely personalized AI interactions.

By the close of this year, Oppo aims to reach a milestone of 100 million users utilizing Oppo AI to improve their everyday device interactions, especially with the recently announced Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
