Motorola Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro Expected to Debut Alongside Razr 60 on April 24
On April 24, Motorola is set to unveil the much-anticipated Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra, but there may be more surprises in store for fans. Recent developments suggest that the Edge 60 and/or the Edge 60 Pro will also be showcased at the event, expanding the Edge lineup further.
The news emerged following a promotional email from Motorola that hinted at these new devices. Notably, the email features a sneak peek of an Edge device next to the new Razrs, clearly marking the April 24 date. Interestingly, there seems to be a mix of languages in the email, adding to the intrigue.
Furthermore, the teaser is echoed across various regional Motorola websites, although the Indian version emphasizes the Edge series more prominently, inviting users to express their interest in these devices.
In recent months, Motorola has already introduced the Edge 60 Fusion and Edge 60 Stylus, so the anticipation for more variants coming soon is certainly justified.
Based on information from a Chinese certification, the Edge 60 is expected to feature a stunning 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1220p resolution, equipped with an integrated fingerprint sensor. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its camera setup, which includes a 50 MP main shooter, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 50 MP front-facing camera. It packs a robust 5,500 mAh battery with 68W wired charging capabilities.
On the other hand, the Edge 60 Pro is reportedly sporting similar display specs but will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC, with configurations of up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Its camera configuration mirrors that of the Edge 60, with a 50 MP main camera and a 32 MP selfie shooter. Additionally, it boasts a larger 6,000 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging.
Stay tuned for more updates as the launch date approaches!
