The eagerly anticipated OnePlus 14 may also be unveiled with a remarkable 7000 mAh battery, a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the OnePlus 13, which featured a 6000 mAh capacity.

According to the insights shared through Weibo, the next generation of smartphones will include advanced battery systems capable of supporting rapid charging, with capabilities of 100W wired charging and 50W-80W wireless charging. As batteries grow larger, faster charging becomes essential; nobody wants to waste precious time waiting for their phone to charge. Digital Chat Station notes that mid-range Android models will initially adopt the 8000 mAh batteries before they migrate to flagship devices, with top-tier Android phones projected to reach a capacity of 7500 mAh by year’s end.
In addition to battery capacity, Samsung is considering innovative design changes for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, such as transitioning the storage of its S Pen to a magnetic attachment.
