The upcoming vivo X200 Ultra flagship is set to revolutionize smartphone photography with its innovative add-on zoom lens, co-engineered with Zeiss. Scheduled for launch on April 21 in China, this remarkable photography accessory promises to elevate your imaging experience like never before.
Vivo has recently hinted at a new photography kit that will accompany the X200 Ultra. However, the standout feature is the additional zoom lens designed specifically for this flagship device. According to vivo product manager Han Boxiao, this state-of-the-art lens will attach to the photography kit using a custom adapter and will enhance the capabilities of the phone’s impressive 200MP periscope zoom lens.
The add-on zoom lens boasts a sophisticated 13-piece glass lens assembly, significantly enhancing the existing 3.7x optical zoom of the 200MP sensor. With a f/2.3 aperture and a remarkable 200mm equivalent focal length, users can enjoy an enhanced 8.7x optical zoom and a remarkable 70x hybrid zoom capability.
Newly released information suggests that photos taken up to a focal length of 800mm (35x zoom) will maintain usability, and that users can push the limits even further to a 1600mm range (70x zoom).
Vivo has shared intriguing sample images demonstrating the X200 Ultra's capabilities with the add-on lens, highlighting the impressive detail captured in various scenarios. Although the specific pricing and availability details for this extraordinary zoom lens remain undisclosed, the anticipation continues to grow.
