As a proud owner of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra, I've had my fair share of experiences with this stunning device. After a recent trip to Southern Spain, where I truly appreciated its camera capabilities, I've been approached with the new Oppo Find X8 Ultra. However, despite its enticing features, I'm finding enough reasons to stick with my current phone.
Design: New Look but No Real Need
The sleek design of the Find X8 Ultra is noteworthy, boasting a thinner profile compared to its predecessor. However, for me, it's merely a cosmetic change without practical benefits.
Performance: A Chipset That's Impressive but Not Essential
The Find X8 Ultra fits a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset – undoubtedly powerful with impressive specifications. However, I am already satisfied with the seamless performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found in my Find X7 Ultra.
Battery: The Temptation is Real
While the battery performance of the Find X8 Ultra is tempting, it isn't a definite reason to switch. My current phone's battery life has been sufficient for my usage scenarios.
Cameras: An Almost Identical Experience
The camera specs on the Find X8 Ultra are certainly appealing; however, they don't feel revolutionary enough to warrant an upgrade from my already capable Find X7 Ultra.
Conclusion: A Personal Choice
While I believe the Oppo Find X8 Ultra is a fantastic device and stands among the leading camera phones on the market, I am 95% sure it doesn’t provide compelling enough advancements to replace my trusted Find X7 Ultra.
