*Galaxy S25 Edge Leak Reveals Higher-Than-Expected Pricing Ahead of Delayed Launch*

Source: Date:

Samsung's highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Edge has surfaced in a now-deleted Italian retail listing, sparking discussions about its pricing and release timeline. The leak suggests the device may cost significantly more than earlier rumors indicated, adding another layer of intrigue to its upcoming launch.

A Zenetti online store briefly listed the Galaxy S25 Edge with eye-popping price tags: €1,362 for the 256GB model and €1,488 for the 512GB variant. These figures clash with prior speculation that pegged the phone at €1,249–€1,259 (256GB) and €1,369–€1,379 (512GB). If accurate, the Edge would undercut the Galaxy S25 Ultra but sit above the Galaxy S25 Plus in Samsung’s lineup.

The phone’s unveiling, initially rumored for mid-April, is now reportedly delayed to May 13. Its availability remains uncertain, particularly in the U.S., where Samsung may opt for a limited release. The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to stand out with a sleek 5.84mm profile, a 6.6-inch display, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip—though its slim design reportedly forces a modest 3,900mAh battery.

Notably, the device could compete with Apple’s rumored iPhone 17 Air, another ultra-thin contender speculated to measure 5.4–5.5mm thick. Both phones signal a industry shift toward slimmer flagships, though the Galaxy S25 Edge may face skepticism over its battery capacity and premium pricing.
