Recently leaked internal documents have shed light on the upcoming Google Pixel 10 lineup's camera hardware. The revelations include significant changes to the camera systems of the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro Fold models, with the latter receiving minor upgrades.

The Pixel 10 is set to undergo a complete overhaul in terms of its camera setup. It will feature a dedicated telephoto camera with an 11MP 1/3.0" Samsung JJ1 sensor. However, to offset the production cost, the main and ultrawide cameras will be equipped with smaller sensors compared to their predecessors.

On the other hand, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL will retain the same cameras as their previous models, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will see a minor upgrade, including a new 50MP Samsung GN8 main camera.

The changes in the camera hardware raise questions about the overall performance and capability of the upcoming Pixel devices. It remains to be seen how Google's advanced ISP on the Tensor G4 chipset will impact the photography experience and whether AI-powered post-processing can compensate for the hardware changes.

As the official launch of the Google Pixel 10 lineup approaches, tech enthusiasts and smartphone users eagerly anticipate the unveiling of these new camera systems and their impact on photography and imaging capabilities.
