Samsung has announced that TM Roh, the head of Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) business, will be taking on new responsibilities as the Acting Head of the Device eXperience (DX) division. This change comes after the passing of the previous head, Han Jong-hee. In addition to Roh's new role, several other executives within the company have been appointed to new positions.
Won-joon Choi has been appointed as the COO of the MX division, while also retaining his role as the Head of R&D Office and Head of Global Operation Team of the MX division. Cheolgi Kim has been named as the new Head of the Digital Appliances business within Samsung.
Furthermore, Samsung Electronics has also welcomed Mauro Porcini as the President and Chief Design Officer. Porcini brings with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Pepsi and 3M. His appointment aims to strengthen Samsung Electronics' design capabilities across various business areas, including mobile, TV, and home appliances.
