The highly-anticipated Samsung tri-fold smartphone, rumored to be named Galaxy G Fold, is gearing up for a release later in 2025. However, recent information suggests that the innovative device may have a restricted launch, with availability limited to just two countries.
Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which was only released in Korea and China last year, the tri-fold smartphone is expected to follow suit by being available exclusively in these two markets.
According to the GSM Association's database listing, only the SM-F968N and SM-F9680 variants of the tri-fold device are currently listed. The "N" suffix typically indicates Samsung's home market, while the "0" suffix is associated with devices intended for the Chinese market.
With a codename of Q7M, as recently disclosed, the device's details in the database remain guarded, hinting at a potential release around October. The limited production run of the tri-fold smartphone may explain the decision to limit its availability to just two countries.
