New Affordable Poco C71 Set to Launch in India this Week

Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce a new budget-friendly smartphone to the Indian market with the upcoming launch of the Poco C71. The device has been teased on Flipkart, revealing key details such as its official arrival date of April 4 and a price tag of under INR 7,000 (around $80/€75).

The Poco C71 is expected to feature a 6.88" screen with a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, making it one of the most eye-friendly displays in its segment. Certified by TUV Rheinland for low blue light emissions and minimal screen flicker, the device also boasts wet touch support for use with wet fingers.

Additionally, the smartphone will come equipped with a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack that have been tested for durability with up to 20,000 uses.

Powering the Poco C71 is a 5,200 mAh battery supporting 15W wired charging, with the promise of retaining at least 80% capacity after 3 years of usage. The device also features a 32 MP main camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter housed within a waterdrop notch.

Other specifications include 6 GB of RAM, an octa-core CPU chipset, and Android 15 out of the box. Xiaomi guarantees 2 years of Android updates, 4 years of security updates, and a one-year mobile warranty covering a wide range of areas across India.
