The F29's standout feature is its remarkable durability. It is certified with IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for water resistance, which covers immersion and water sprays. Additionally, the phone is engineered to resist a variety of 18 liquids—including coconut water, sports drinks, and dishwasher fluid—offering added peace of mind for users.

In extreme climates, the F29 can operate in temperatures as low as -35 degrees Celsius for up to 4 hours.

Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the Oppo F29 features a vibrant 6.7" AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and an impressive 120 Hz refresh rate. It includes an 8 MP front-facing camera positioned in a punch hole design.

The rear camera setup consists of a 50 MP main camera and an additional 2 MP monochrome lens.

With a hefty 6,500 mAh battery, the F29 supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. Weighing in at just 185 grams and measuring 7.7 mm thick, it is designed for both style and strength, featuring an ultra-strong aluminum alloy motherboard, reinforced corners, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

The device runs on ColorOS 15 built on Android 15, highlighting innovative AI capabilities such as Clarity Enhancer, Eraser, and Reflection Remover functionalities for improved photography.

The Oppo F29 5G is available in Solid Purple and Glacier Blue colors, priced at INR 23,999 ($280/€255) for the 8/128 GB variant and INR 25,999 ($300/€280) for the 8/256 GB model, with shipments set to commence on March 27.

The Oppo F29 Pro shares a similar compact build as its sibling while offering a more premium feel with its quad-curved display and enhanced durability, including the MIL-STD-810H certification against mold, solar radiation, and ice build-up.

It features a 6.7" AMOLED display with stronger Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The F29 Pro is equipped with a 16 MP front-facing camera, providing improved selfie capabilities compared to the F29.

Under the hood, the device runs on the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor, available with either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. The rear camera configuration remains the same, featuring a 50 MP main camera alongside a 2 MP monochrome sensor.

With a slightly smaller 6,000 mAh battery, the F29 Pro supports faster 80W SuperVOOC charging, capable of charging to 45% in just 20 minutes, even under extreme weather conditions.
