Oppo A5

Equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the Oppo A5 boasts a stunning 6.7” AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The display features a single hole for the front-facing 8 MP camera, and a fingerprint scanner is integrated under the screen.

On the rear, the phone showcases a unique design with a circular camera housing, accommodating a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP portrait lens, complemented by an LED flash. The fourth circle in the design serves no functional purpose.

With a powerful 6,500 mAh battery and support for 45W charging, the Oppo A5 is designed for long usage periods. The device is rated IP69 for water and dust resistance and offers 360-degree NFC connectivity. It runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

Weighing in at 185 grams, the Oppo A5 is a sleek device at just 7.65 mm thin, featuring a minimal bezel of 1.39 mm at the front.

The Oppo A5 will be available in three color options: Zircon Black (a stylish purple), Crystal Diamond (a lovely pink), and Blue. Pricing starts at CNY1,299 ($180/€165) for the 8/128 GB variant, CNY1,499 ($210/€190) for 8/256 GB, CNY1,799 ($250/€225) for 12/256 GB, and CNY1,999 ($275/€250) for the 12/512 GB model.

Oppo A5 Energy Edition

The A5 Energy Edition, sold as the Oppo A5 Pro in the Republic of China (to be distinguished from the Oppo A5 Pro in the People's Republic of China), shares similar specifications but features a distinctive Jade Green color.

This variant is powered by a Dimensity 6300 chipset and includes a 6.67" LCD display with HD+ resolution, along with a rear camera setup of 50 MP and 2 MP.

While more affordable than the standard Oppo A5, the Energy Edition comes with a slightly less impressive battery capacity of 5,800 mAh, still supporting 45W charging.

Like its counterpart, it retains the ColorOS 15 interface, supports 360-degree NFC, and is IP69 certified, boasting military-grade durability.

The Oppo A5 Energy Edition is available in a variety of colors: Amber Black (a brownish hue), Jade Green, and Agate Powder (a pink gradient). Pricing starts at CNY1,199 ($165/€150) for the 8/256 GB model, CNY1,399 ($195/€175) for the 12/256 GB option, and CNY1,599 ($220/€200) for the 12/512 GB variant.
