Samsung has unveiled the upgraded version of its Game Booster app, now named Game Booster+, which brings a host of new features aimed at enhancing the gaming experience on Galaxy devices. Currently available only in South Korea, this update comes as part of the Good Lock app, with expectations for a broader release in the future.
Key Features of Game Booster+
The most notable additions to Game Booster+ include the ability for key remapping, enhanced GPU settings, and the option to manually classify apps as games.
With the new key remapping feature, users can customize in-game controls and create different profiles tailored for specific games, providing flexibility and a more personalized gaming experience.
The upgraded GPU settings include options for PreTransform and Texture Filter. The PreTransform setting optimizes GPU performance during the screen rotation of Vulkan games, whereas the Texture Filter improves the visual quality of in-game textures. Players can choose between Default, Performance, or Quality settings based on their preference.
Additionally, Game Booster+ lets users add non-game apps to the Game Booster list, allowing features to work even if the app isn't originally recognized as a game. This is particularly beneficial for lesser-known titles that may not be automatically categorized.
