Exciting Details Unveiled for Oppo A5 and A5 Vitality Edition Ahead of Launch

In anticipation of their upcoming release, Oppo has revealed official details about the A5 and A5 Vitality Edition smartphones, both set to debut in China on March 18. With a range of impressive specifications and features, these devices are already garnering attention from fans and tech enthusiasts alike. Leaks prior to the launch date have unveiled intriguing specifications, including display types, camera setups, and battery capacities.

The Oppo A5 (model PKQ110) boasts a stunning 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, complete with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Powering this device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage configurations of 128GB, 256GB, or even 512GB.

Both the A5 and the A5 Vitality Edition are designed to resist dust and water with an impressive IP66, 68, and 69 rating. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP auxiliary lens on the rear and an 8MP front camera for selfies. Running on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, the A5 will be powered by a robust 6,500mAh battery offering 45W fast charging capabilities.

Available color options for the Oppo A5 include Mica Blue, Crystal Diamond Pink, and Zircon Black.

The Oppo A5 Vitality Edition (model PKV110) features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. Similar RAM configurations of 8GB or 12GB are available, coupled with storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Like its counterpart, it will feature a 50MP main camera with a 2MP secondary lens and an 8MP selfie camera.

Oppo A5 Vitality Edition

This variant comes with a slightly smaller 5,800mAh battery that also supports 45W charging, maintaining the same ColorOS 15 interface as the regular A5 model. The available colors for the Vitality Edition will be Agate Pink, Jade Green, and Amber Black.

Both models are expected to start at a competitive price in the CNY 1,000 range, approximately $140.
