MediaTek Set to Unveil Dimensity 9400+ at Upcoming Developer Conference

Source: Date:

MediaTek is set to showcase its innovations during the Dimensity Developer Conference on April 11, a highly anticipated event that aligns with previous insights from industry insiders. While the company has kept details about the rumored Dimensity 9400+ chipset under wraps, the announcement hints strongly at its introduction during this conference.

The company explicitly mentions a flagship 5G AI chipset will take center stage at the event, leading many to speculate that it will indeed be the much-discussed Dimensity 9400+. This unveiling comes at a pivotal time as several devices, including the Oppo Find X8S and vivo X200S, are expected to hit the market shortly thereafter, also in April.

Rumors suggest that the Dimensity 9400+ will closely resemble its predecessor, the Dimensity 9400, which debuted last year. However, the new chipset is expected to feature a slight bump in CPU performance, particularly with its Cortex-X925 super core, which could see clock speeds increase from 3.62GHz to 3.7GHz. While this increment might not seem significant, tech enthusiasts hope that additional features will justify the "+” addition in the name. More clarity will come when the event unfolds next month.
