Exciting Camera Enhancements Confirmed for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7

Source: Date:

In a recent report, anticipations for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 are on the rise as it's confirmed that the device will feature a state-of-the-art 200 MP main camera. This significant upgrade aligns with previous leaks that hinted at a more advanced camera system for the forthcoming foldable.

The new 200 MP sensor, which made its debut in the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition last year, is set to provide a remarkable enhancement over the Fold6's 50 MP camera. This same sensor is also utilized in the high-end Galaxy S25 Ultra, promising users a superior photography experience with the Z Fold7.

Moreover, today's report reveals that the under-display camera, which has drawn criticism for its subpar quality, is also slated for an upgrade. While the exact improvements remain vague, a higher resolution than the currently disappointing 4 MP would be a welcome here.

However, aside from these key improvements, it appears that the Fold7 will maintain the same camera specifications as its predecessor. Users can expect the same 12 MP ultrawide, 10 MP telephoto, and 10 MP selfie camera on the cover screen.

The official unveiling of the Fold7 is anticipated to occur in July, alongside the release of the Flip7 and Samsung's innovative 'tri-fold' device, which is expected to have a limited release.
