Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge''s Battery Size Officially Disclosed Ahead of Launch

Source: Date:

The anticipation for Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge continues to build as we draw closer to its release next month. Recent leaks have provided insight into its design features, including dimensions, weight, screen and bezel size, alongside some early pricing details. Meanwhile, Samsung has assured fans that the device will not compromise on durability.

However, concerns regarding battery performance have surfaced. Various reports previously indicated that the S25 Edge would possess the smallest battery within the S25 family, a claim that has now been substantiated through a certification leak in Denmark.

The certification reveals that the S25 Edge will feature a battery rated at 3,786 mAh, which will be marketed as having a typical capacity of 3,900 mAh. Notably, this is 100 mAh less than the much smaller Galaxy S25, which raises eyebrows regarding its potential battery life.

Given this information, it’s clear that the S25 Edge may not tout battery life as one of its key selling points. Instead, its sleekness, measuring only 5.84mm thick—achieved by sacrificing some battery longevity—will likely be emphasized.

As per previous rumors and leaks, the S25 Edge will harness the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, coupled with 12GB of RAM. Additionally, it will sport a 120 Hz refresh rate display and support for 25W wired charging. Its rear camera setup will be minimalist, featuring only two lenses, including a remarkable 200 MP main camera.
