Excitement is building as Oppo prepares to unveil the F29 and F29 Pro models in India later this month. Recent leaks have provided a glimpse into the specifications and a live image of the standard F29 model, shedding light on what consumers can expect from these upcoming smartphones.
The standard Oppo F29 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. This model will flaunt a sturdy aluminum frame and boast impressive IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, ensuring exceptional resistance to dust and water. Additionally, it is rumored to house a hefty 6,500 mAh battery that supports rapid 85W fast wired charging.
Oppo F29 leaked live imageUnder the hood, the F29 will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 SoC, with an anticipated price tag ranging from INR 25,000 to INR 30,000.
On the other hand, the F29 Pro is rumored to boast a similar 6.7-inch quad-micro-curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will feature a versatile camera setup that includes a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP decorative secondary camera, and a 16 MP front-facing selfie camera.
This advanced model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, available with options of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Much like its counterpart, the F29 Pro will also include a 6,500 mAh battery along with equivalent IP ratings. Both devices are expected to launch with Android 15 and Oppo's ColorOS 15 skin on top.
