Xiaomi Achieves 3.6 Million Sales of Redmi K80 Series in Just 100 Days
Xiaomi has made a remarkable impact in the smartphone market with its recent Redmi K80 series launch. Introduced in November 2024, this series has quickly gained popularity, particularly the Pro model featuring the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
As of today, Xiaomi has proudly announced that it has sold a staggering 3.6 million units within the first 100 days of availability. This impressive figure encompasses several variants, including the Redmi K80, Redmi K80 Pro, and the unique K80 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse Special Edition.
Looking ahead, Xiaomi is anticipated to expand the K80 lineup with two new models: the Redmi K80 Ultra, which is expected to feature a massive 6,500 mAh battery and the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, and the Redmi K80 Gaming, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite. Although the specific details regarding these chipsets are still pending, MediaTek is set to announce its upgraded flagship SoC in April, suggesting that the new Redmi models could launch shortly thereafter.
It’s important to note that all 3.6 million units sold so far have been in China, as the series has yet to make its global debut. There is speculation that the international variants of the Redmi K80 may be released as Poco F7 devices, with indications that Xiaomi might bypass the standard model.
