Verizon Promotes Digital Well-Being, Encouraging Families to Disconnect
In an era where digital devices dominate our daily lives, Verizon is taking a commendable step towards fostering a healthier relationship with technology. The telecommunications giant is launching a series of initiatives designed to promote digital well-being for families, encouraging them to establish healthy digital habits and spend quality time away from screens.
Building healthy habits in our digital lives is essential for overall well-being. Verizon is empowering families by providing resources and tools that promote digital safety, encouraging kids to occasionally put their phones down. Our objective is to ensure technology enriches our lives, leading to happier and healthier families. These new initiatives mark a significant move towards that goal.

Verizon has partnered with Discovery Education for the Digital Wellness Summit, hosted by Drew Barrymore. This initiative aims to furnish K-12 students with free resources and tools necessary to understand the complexities of today's digital landscape better.
In collaboration with Sesame Workshop, Verizon is also conducting a research study with the Joan Ganz Cooney Center. This research focuses on the digital well-being of children between the ages of 8 to 12, providing insights into healthy tech use during critical developmental stages.
Furthermore, as part of these initiatives, Verizon is hosting the Arcade Unplugged pop-up experience in select retail locations, coinciding with the Global Day of Unplugging. This activation aims to equip partner families with essential tools to support children’s digital wellness and navigate emerging technology trends. Join us on March 7 and 8 for this enlightening experience!
