The much-anticipated Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 has kicked off in Barcelona, showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in the mobile industry. Among the standout exhibitors is Tecno, which has made a significant impact with the announcement of its new Camon 40 series smartphones, alongside an array of laptops, wearables, and audio accessories.
While detailed specifications for the Camon 40 series were not fully revealed, Tecno teased that the smartphones will be powered by Mediatek chipsets and feature an innovative "Circle to Search" function. The series is set to incorporate the advanced Tecno AI suite, including functionalities such as AI Image Creation, AI Call Assistant, AI Writing, and the proprietary Ella AI assistant. Enhancing their durability, the Camon 40 devices are designed to be both water and dust resistant.
Excitingly, a special Camon 40 Premier model will showcase a remarkable 50 MP camera, with Tecno indicating that the AI glasses will utilize the same impressive camera technology.

In addition to smartphones, Tecno debuted its new Megabook series, which includes the Megabook S14, K15S, and T14 Air laptops. The Megabook S14 is marketed as the lightest 14-inch OLED laptop at just 899 grams, featuring a stunning 2.8 K resolution panel. The Megabook T14 Air maintains a slim profile at 999 grams and is constructed from a durable magnesium alloy, while the K15S impresses with its 70Wh battery and 65W fast charging capabilities.
Tecno also revealed the Watch GT1, an advanced health-tracking wearable, designed for those passionate about health monitoring. The True 2 TWS earbuds stand out with impressive features, including 45 dB of noise cancellation and an extensive 50-hour battery life.

Additionally, Tecno showcased a photochromic technology that allows the smartphone’s surface to change color when exposed to sunlight.
Furthermore, the Phantom V Fold2 5G smartphone now features global satellite communication, marking it as the first foldable device to offer such capability. The Phantom Ultimate 2 concept, which tri-folds and boasts a 10" display in just 11 mm thickness, was also revealed alongside the sleek new Spark Slim smartphone.
