Xiaomi has officially launched its highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 globally at the MWC following their unveiling in China. Both smartphones showcase a blend of cutting-edge technology and appealing design, albeit with slight modifications for the international market.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a robust 5,410mAh battery in its global version, slightly smaller than the 6,000mAh counterpart in China. However, it still supports rapid charging capabilities with 90W wired and 80W wireless HyperCharge technology.

In terms of aesthetics, European consumers will have the option to choose from White, Black, and a unique Silver Chrome edition. Unfortunately, Pine Green remains an exclusive for the Chinese market.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, complemented by up to 16GB of RAM. It boasts an aluminum frame and is protected by Xiaomi's impressive Shield Glass 2.0, which is designed to withstand 16 times more impact than conventional glass. Its back panel is crafted with special glass fiber, featuring a textured finish for the black model and a distinctive etching on the white variant.
The device sports an immersive 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200x1440 pixels, supporting a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120Hz and a brightness peak of up to 3,200 nits.

Camera capabilities are also impressive, with the main 50MP LYT-900 sensor enhanced by a fixed f/1.63 lens. Photographers will appreciate the two zoom options: a 70mm f/1.8 lens paired with a 1/1.251-inch Sony IMX858 sensor, and a new 100mm f/2.6 telephoto lens utilizing a 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HP9 sensor. Additionally, the ultrawide camera has a revamped 14mm f/2.2 lens featuring a 1/1.251-inch Samsung JN5 sensor.
A 32MP selfie camera with a 21mm f/2.0 lens rounds out the impressive photography suite.

The standard Xiaomi 15 has also made its global entrance today, featuring a slightly reduced 5,240mAh battery compared to the 5,400mAh in China.
This model includes a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1200x2670 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, along with the same durable glass featured on the Ultra. Like the Ultra, the Xiaomi 15 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and supports up to 16GB of RAM.
The camera system is versatile, highlighted by a 50MP main sensor with a 23mm f/1.6 aperture. The zoom capabilities include a 60mm f/2.0 lens utilizing a 1/2.51-inch Samsung JN5 sensor, complemented by a 14mm f/2.2 ultrawide option. Up front, there’s a 32MP selfie camera with a 22mm f/2.0 lens.
