Honor has made a splash in the tech world today with the introduction of its first Ultra series smartwatch, the Honor Watch 5 Ultra. This advanced watch not only enhances the existing product line but also introduces a wealth of new features, setting a new standard in the wearable market. Alongside this flagship device, Honor is also bringing its Pad V9 tablet and Earbuds Open to international markets, showcasing its commitment to innovation across multiple product categories.
Honor Watch 5 Ultra
The Honor Watch 5 Ultra is a remarkable step up from its predecessors, boasting a design that features a circular display encased in an octagonal frame. Crafted from premium materials, it utilizes a Grade 5 titanium alloy for the mid-frame and a ceramic-like material for the back, in contrast to the aluminum and stainless steel counterparts in the standard Watch 5 and Watch 4 Pro.
The front of the device is safeguarded by a sapphire crystal, enhancing its durability against scratches. Beneath this protective layer lies a 1.5” OLED display (466 x 466px, 310ppi) that benefits from LTPO technology, allowing a variable refresh rate of up to 60Hz for smooth performance while conserving battery life in lower settings. The watch also supports an Always On Display mode.
One of the standout features of the Honor Watch 5 Ultra is its introduction of ECG functionality, providing users with instant ECG readings through its Quick Health Scan feature. Additionally, the Health Monitor Report summarizes health data collected over the previous day.
Built for durability, this new smartwatch supports Free Diving Mode, enabling users to dive up to 40 meters (130 feet) underwater—significantly exceeding the 5 ATM rating of previous models. With over 100 sports modes available, it caters to a wide range of athletic activities.
Measuring 46.3mm in diameter and 11.4mm thick, the watch weighs a lightweight 51.8g without the strap. It is equipped with a speaker for hands-free calls. Navigation through the user interface is facilitated by a rotating crown, and users can select from over 10,000 unique watch faces, along with customizable Scenario Service Cards for quick access to various functions.
The Honor Watch 5 Ultra is powered by a 480mAh battery, promising a battery life of up to 15 days, and it supports wireless charging. Color options include Black with a fluoroelastomer strap and Brown with a leather strap.
Honor Pad V9
The Honor Pad V9, initially revealed in December, is now making its global debut. This 11.5” tablet features an IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 1840px and a 144Hz refresh rate, making it a powerful device for multimedia consumption and productivity. It is powered by the Dimensity 8350 chipset and is compatible with the Magic Pencil 3 and Smart Keyboard cover, both sold separately.
With eight IMAX Enhanced speakers and a sizeable 10,100mAh battery, which supports 66W fast charging, the Honor Pad V9 is designed to impress.
Honor Earbuds Open
Completing the trio of new product launches are the Honor Earbuds Open, crafted for comfort with their open-ear design and secure ear hooks. These earbuds utilize AI for language translation across 15 languages in three distinct modes—Shared Mode, Exclusive Mode, and Simultaneous Interpretation. They also feature Active Noise Cancellation and a bone voiceprint sensor to ensure clear calls, even in noisy environments.

Each earbud weighs only 7.9g and is crafted from skin-friendly silicone, rated at IP54 for water resistance, making them suitable for outdoor activities—even in the rain. With a listening time of up to 6 hours on a single charge and a total of 22 hours with the charging case, these earbuds also support quick charging, providing 2 hours of playback with just 15 minutes in the case.
