Xiaomi has officially launched the Pad 7 Pro to global markets, and we are excited to present our initial impressions alongside some of its official accessories.
In Europe, the tablet is shipped with a simple USB-A to USB-C cable. For those interested in enhancing their experience, the Focus Pen stylus can be purchased separately and seamlessly pairs with the tablet by simply placing it on the magnetized edge.

Included in the Package: Additional Focus Pen
Xiaomi aims to transform the 11-inch tablet into a comprehensive personal computer solution, offering two keyboard options along with a protective cover case.

The Pro Cover matches the smart origami-styled design that Xiaomi introduced with the Pad 6S Pro. Its PU leather finish not only looks good but also provides a significant level of protection and convenience.
The Pro Focus Keyboard is Xiaomi's answer to the Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, featuring a raised magnetic pad for the tablet and a full QWERTY keyboard with an integrated glass trackpad. Although slightly cramped compared to a laptop, it effectively allows for web-based work on the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.
For those who can forgo a trackpad, the more budget-friendly Pro Keyboard option remains a good choice, offering excellent QWERTY keys without the premium feel of the Pro Focus model.

Xiaomi has taken a methodical approach to the Pad 7 Pro's upgrades. The display has increased by 0.2 inches and now boasts a brightness of 800 nits (up from 550 nits), while maintaining the 144Hz IPS LCD setup. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a step up from the 8+ Gen 1 in the Pad 6 Pro, and it comes with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. The storage is notably faster with UFS 4.0, except for the 128GB version which uses UFS 3.1.
The battery capacity has also been slightly enhanced to 8,850mAh, with the same fast charging at 67W.
