The T-Mobile T-Life app is marketed as a convenient self-service tool for users to manage their mobile services effortlessly. However, many customers encounter a major hurdle when attempting to perform what should be a straightforward task: transferring an eSIM between different smartphone platforms. Despite the app's promotion as a comprehensive service hub, it lacks the capability to generate a QR code for transferring eSIMs from an iPhone to an Android device or vice versa. As a result, users are often left with no option but to reach out to customer service, a process that can be both frustrating and time-consuming.
