Vivo has expanded its Y-series lineup with the introduction of the Y04 in Egypt. This budget-friendly 4G smartphone, which was unveiled without much fanfare, is now listed by Vivo's Egyptian division. It boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, making it an attractive option for users seeking performance at a lower price point.

Under the hood, the vivo Y04 is powered by the Unisoc T7225 chipset (also known as T612), coupled with 4GB of RAM and storage options of 64GB or 128GB, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The camera setup on the rear includes a 13 MP primary sensor along with a VGA auxiliary lens, while a 5MP front-facing camera is housed in a waterdrop notch design. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 14, based on Android 14, and is equipped with a robust 5,500 mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging.

This device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is designed with IP64 ingress protection, providing users with added durability against dust and water. The vivo Y04 is available in two elegant colors: Dark Green and Titanium Gold. However, pricing and availability details have not yet been disclosed.
