Troubles with Charging: Users Report Issues with Galaxy Buds 3 Pro

Source: Date:
The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have been marketed as premium wireless earbuds, but reports from users suggest that they may come with a significant charging dilemma. Numerous individuals have taken to forums to highlight substantial issues related to the earbuds, particularly focusing on charging failures that might not be easily resolvable. A reddit user, for instance, mentioned they have already gone through two pairs of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro; despite their excellent sound quality, the left earbud consistently fails to charge. An alarming burn mark has also developed at the connection point of the charging pin, as illustrated in the image below.

Reports from other users echo similar sentiments. One individual stated that they had to use alcohol swabs to clean the contact points to revive the charge on their earbuds, while another reported using a small precision screwdriver to adjust the connectors inside the case.

One user expressed their frustration, stating that their left earbud failed to charge before a flight, making it impossible for them to use noise-canceling features during travel. After visiting an authorized Samsung repair store, which was unhelpful, they managed to get the earbud working by adjusting the connector themselves. This incident raises serious concerns about Samsung's service quality.

Interestingly, rather than offering replacements for defective units, Samsung directs users to authorized repair outlets. If you're considering purchasing the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, it might be wise to ensure your unit belongs to a newer batch to reduce the likelihood of encountering this charging issue.
