Samsung is set to unveil its latest mid-range devices, the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26, just days ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Ahead of the official announcement, a significant leak has revealed key specifications, design features, and pricing details for all three models, providing an exciting glimpse into what Samsung's A series has to offer this year.
All three devices share a cohesive design philosophy, incorporating Samsung’s latest aesthetic for rear cameras, which are now integrated into an oval-shaped island—a departure from the individual camera bumps seen previously. The leaked images below showcase the sleek design that the Galaxy A series is known for.

Notably, all three models feature the same 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. Both the A56 and A36 boast an impressive peak brightness of 1,200 nits, while the screens are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and Gorilla Glass 7+, respectively. Details about the A26’s display protection remain unconfirmed.

In terms of biometric security, the A56 and A36 utilize in-display fingerprint sensors, while the A26 opts for a capacitive sensor embedded in the power button—often considered a practical choice. The A26 also maintains a notch for the front camera, whereas the A56 and A36 feature a modern hole-punch cutout.

Powered by different processors, the A56 features the Exynos 1580 SoC, while the A36 utilizes Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The Galaxy A26 runs on the Exynos 1380 chipset. RAM configurations vary with the A36 offering either 6GB or 8GB, while the A56 comes with 8GB across all variants, and the A26 features options for 6GB and 8GB.
The camera setup includes a 50 MP main rear camera across all models, with the A56 boasting a 12 MP ultrawide camera compared to the A36 and A26’s 8 MP. Additionally, the A56 and A36 have a 5 MP macro camera, while the A26 has a 2 MP variant. Selfie capabilities feature a 12 MP camera in the A56 and A36, and a 13 MP front camera in the A26, all supporting 4K video recording at 30fps.
Audio enthusiasts will appreciate that both the A36 and A26 retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, although the A56 opts for a more premium metallic frame. All three devices share a robust 5,000 mAh battery, with fast charging capabilities of up to 45W for the A56 and A36, while the A26 supports 25W charging. Upon release, all phones will run on Android 15 with One UI 7.
The official launch is expected in early March, with prices in Europe set at €299 for the A26, €379 for the A36, and €479 for the A56, mirroring their predecessors’ pricing.
