In a highly anticipated move, Samsung has officially revealed the date for its Galaxy A series launch event. Scheduled for March 2, the event promises to unveil new models that have been the subject of recent leaks, particularly the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26.
While Samsung has not explicitly confirmed which models will be showcased, the timing of the leaks suggests a strong possibility that these three devices will take center stage. Samsung's promotional image for the event features only two smartphones, indicating that we might only see a selection of the new offerings during the launch.

Prospective customers in India can already sign up to express their interest in the launch by visiting the company's website. Early rumors indicate that the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 will feature a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. The A56 and A36 are expected to come equipped with in-display fingerprint sensors, while the A26 will have its sensor integrated into the power button.
Under the hood, the new models are expected to offer varying hardware configurations: the A56 is rumored to run on the Exynos 1580 processor, the A36 on Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, and the A26 on Exynos 1380. Memory options will range from 6GB to 8GB across the models.
Camera specifications are equally impressive, with all three devices likely featuring a 50 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The A56 is speculated to include a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, while the A36 and A26 may offer an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, alongside a macro lens with varying Resolution. The selfie cameras will include 12 MP sensors for the A56 and A36, and a 13 MP for the A26.
Interestingly, these models are rumored to launch with Android 15 and One UI 7, making them appealing alternatives for those eyeing a mid-range device with cutting-edge software. With their strong feature sets, the upcoming Galaxy A series is likely to catch the attention of many tech enthusiasts, especially those comparing it with the flagship Galaxy S24.
