Exciting New Renders of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 Emerge

Source: Date:

Following the recent unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 renders, attention now shifts to the Galaxy Z Flip7, which has surfaced in a fresh set of CAD-based leaks. While these designs may undergo some alterations before the official launch, they provide a striking preview of Samsung’s upcoming flagship flip-style foldable smartphone.

The leaked renders indicate that the Galaxy Z Flip7 will measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm when opened, with a thickness of 9.1 mm including the camera protrusions. This suggests a slight increase in height and width while maintaining the same thickness as its predecessor, the Flip6.

One of the notable features of the Flip7 is its larger display, boasting a 6.8-inch inner screen and a 3.6-inch outer screen. The device will continue to house two primary cameras: a 50 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultra-wide lens. Despite retaining the same resolution as the Flip6, there are potential upgrades in the camera sensors expected.

Powering the Flip7 may be the new Exynos 2500 SoC, contingent on yield improvements; otherwise, it might feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, although details around the chip’s configuration remain unclear. The device will come equipped with 12GB of RAM and offer storage options of either 256GB or 512GB.

In terms of pricing, the Flip7 is expected to maintain the same price point as its predecessor, which is reassuring, albeit somewhat disappointing for those hoping for a drop in foldable smartphone prices. On a positive note, reports suggest that the crease in the display will be less noticeable compared to the Flip6.
