With the recent launch of the Galaxy S25 behind us, all eyes are on Samsung's upcoming foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Flip 7. While we've discussed the innovative design changes in the Z Fold 7, details about the Z Flip 7 have remained largely under wraps. However, newly leaked renders have provided us with a clearer picture, albeit a “thicker” one.
Unlike its sibling, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is expected to feature a slimmer chassis with a larger display, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 appears to maintain a comparable thickness to its predecessor. The leaked images not only showcase the design but also unveil some key specifications, including its dimensions.
Currently, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 measures 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm with a 6.7-inch inner display and a 3.4-inch outer display. In contrast, the forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm. It will feature a slightly larger 6.8-inch inner display alongside a 3.6-inch outer display.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 will showcase bigger displays but retain its thickness. The new device is reported to be 6.9 mm thick when unfolded, and approximately 15 mm when folded. Additionally, the front will show a thickness of 9.1 mm with the camera bump included.
The camera setup on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to feature dual cameras, including a 50-megapixel main and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, which mirrors the configuration found in the Galaxy Z Flip 6. However, Samsung may introduce enhancements under the hood to boost performance.
