Initially, there were rumors that the smartphone would be revealed at the summer Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. However, it appears those hopes may be premature.
According to a tweet from industry insider @MaxJmb, while Samsung is indeed developing a tri-fold smartphone, it won't make its debut during the upcoming event. The company is instead planning to announce the device at a later date.
Currently, Huawei holds the title for the only manufacturer to launch such a innovative device with the Mate XT Ultimate. This positions Samsung in a competitive landscape, prompting speculation about whether another player might unveil a tri-fold smartphone before Samsung does.
