Samsung is ramping up the excitement for its upcoming Galaxy A56 and A36 smartphones, which are set to take the mid-range market by storm. With a launch expected to be global in scope and a marketing push spearheaded by Samsung India, these devices promise to deliver impressive features and extended software support that could win over many users.

According to the latest teaser, both the Galaxy A56 and A36 will come with a remarkable 6 years of OS support—two years more than the current standard for many smartphones. This initiative is part of Samsung's effort to enhance customer loyalty by committing to long-term software updates, including planned upgrades up to Android 21.

Both models will launch with Android 15, offering users an optimized and up-to-date experience right from the start. The Galaxy A56, the more premium option, is rumored to feature a stunning 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that boasts FHD+ resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and the protective capabilities of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

On the hardware front, the Galaxy A56 is powered by the Exynos 1580 processor, complemented by 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD slot. Its camera system is also impressive, featuring a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5 MP macro lens. Furthermore, the device is expected to house a robust 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A36 will feature a slightly smaller 6.64-inch Super AMOLED display, also with FHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ for robust protection. Although the Galaxy A55 debuted in the US two years ago, there remains a promising possibility for the Galaxy A56 to be available in North American markets soon.
