Surprising Results from the Analysis of T-Mobile and SpaceX's Communication Services

T-Mobile and SpaceX's collaboration on a Starlink-powered service has undergone a detailed analysis by Signals Research Group (SRG) to compare satellite transmission with terrestrial communication. The study utilized equipment from Accuver Americas and Rohde & Schwarz to evaluate the performance of T-Mobile's satellite service in areas with limited coverage. T-Mobile's service, operating on Band 25 (1952.5 MHz), exhibited reliable messaging capabilities, even in challenging conditions. The analysis also addressed concerns regarding interference between SpaceX's satellites and T-Mobile's ground-based infrastructure, indicating a promising coexistence between the two technologies.
