Following last week’s launch of the Galaxy A06 5G in India, Samsung is gearing up to introduce two more models in the A-series: the Galaxy A36 and A56. While the possibility of an A26 launch remains speculative, the company has released a teaser video on YouTube and X that hints at what users can expect.
In the teaser, several existing A-series models are showcased, but notably, no appearances are made by the A36 or A56. Although not officially confirmed, rumors suggest that both models will feature a redesigned camera island.
The video highlights that the A-series now boasts over 89 million users and, intriguingly, promises 6 OS updates—an increase from the 4 OS updates offered with last year’s A35 and A55. This enhancement marks a significant improvement for the 2025 generation, placing both models just short of the premium S and Z series in terms of software support.

However, the teaser did not provide a specific launch date for the new A-series phones, and Samsung India’s social media accounts have remained silent on the matter. Additionally, the company is also set to unveil the Galaxy M16 and M06 5G, yet details about their launch remain vague as well.
According to leaks, the Galaxy A56 will be powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, while the A36 will utilize the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Both models are expected to feature 6.6-inch OLED displays and 5,000mAh batteries with 45W fast charging capabilities. The support pages for the Galaxy A26 have already surfaced, indicating its imminent launch; however, the spotlight is likely to stay on the A36 and A56 due to their popularity.
