The design journey begins with sketches on paper, transitions to digital designs, and also involves experimenting with various components. The design team focused on three main goals - aesthetics, functionality, and ensuring all components fit seamlessly together. The larger periscope module posed a unique challenge due to its size, leading to numerous iterations of camera island layouts before the final design was selected.
Additionally, Nothing has introduced a camera button with a glossy finish for added visual appeal and versatility in color coordination. The Glyph interface has also been revamped to offer users more control and customization options.
