The upcoming Google Pixel 9a is generating buzz ahead of its anticipated launch next month, with a recent hands-on video providing a closer look at its design and features. Notably, the device showcases a minimalistic camera bump, emphasizing its sleek profile.

In the video, the smartphone is seen in the Obsidian color variant, which essentially translates to a classic black for most users. The modest thickness of the camera bump indicates that while the phone may not hold the title of the slimmest device on the market, it also seems to forgo high-end camera technology that generally requires larger protrusions.

Set to be revealed on March 19 and available for purchase starting March 26, the Pixel 9a is expected to retail at $499 for the 128GB model, ramping up to $599 for the 256GB configuration. Both options will feature 8GB of RAM, a vibrant 6.28-inch OLED display boasting 2,700-nit peak brightness, and powered by the Tensor G4 chipset. Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a 48 MP main camera alongside a 13 MP ultrawide lens, complemented by a robust 5,100 mAh battery. Additionally, it will launch with Android 15 and will be available in colors such as Porcelain, Iris, and Peony, alongside Obsidian.
