However, a new report from China suggests that Sony is focusing on enhancing the camera capabilities of its upcoming device.
The Xperia 1 VI is equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera featuring a 1/1.35-inch Exmor T sensor, along with ultra-wide and telephoto cameras that use Exmor RS sensors. Despite the use of high-quality sensors, the camera performance of Xperia 1 VI has been deemed average by experts.
The Xperia 1 VII is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12 GB RAM, and 256 GB storage, ensuring smooth performance and ample storage space for users.
