Yesterday, I expressed my envy towards the newly announced iPhone 16 series for offering a unique visual intelligence feature that was not available on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. This feature allows users to unlock a world of information by simply pointing their camera at various objects or texts, enabling tasks such as translation, summarization, and search facilitation. Despite some skepticism about the feature's necessity, I remained eager to have it installed on my current device.
To my surprise, Apple recently announced that they will be integrating the visual intelligence feature into the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max through the Action Button, similar to how it functions on the iPhone 16e. This decision has delighted many users, including myself, as it opens up a whole new realm of possibilities for our devices.
The inclusion of visual intelligence on the iPhone 15 Pro models is expected to come with the next iOS update, potentially as soon as iOS 18.4. With the beta release on the horizon, users can anticipate experiencing this exciting feature very soon, thanks to Apple's responsiveness to consumer demands.
