Google has recently introduced an updated version of the Battery Health page for its Pixel smartphones, showcased in the latest Android 16 Beta 2 release. The revamped page offers an improved design and new features aimed at providing users with valuable battery-related information and settings to prolong their device's battery life.
The new page includes indicators such as a black checkmark in a mint-green circle to signify normal battery health, while highlighting any issues with a different colored circle and "X" symbol. Users can also access details on Battery Capacity and Health articles, offering insights into the battery's long-term life expectancy and current charge-holding capacity.
Additionally, the updated page offers battery optimization options like limiting charging to 80% and adaptive charging to preserve battery health. Users can also choose to recalibrate their battery for improved measurements, although this process may take some time to complete.
