Both Oppo and OnePlus are rumored to be ditching the alert slider on their upcoming flagships in favor of a new multi-purpose button. This button, referred to as the Rubik’s Cube key, will offer more functionality to users, such as one-click mute, toggling the flash, camera, translator, and app quick-launching. The change is expected to debut on the Oppo Find X8 Ultra and eventually make its way to the OnePlus 14.
