A recent report suggests that Samsung's upcoming foldable phones, the Galaxy Fold7 and Flip7, will not receive the One UI 7.1 update as originally planned. Due to delays in the rollout of One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series and older devices, Samsung is focusing on addressing software issues with the Galaxy S25's One UI 7.0 software.
Unlike previous years, where Samsung released updated versions of One UI with minor tweaks and new features for its foldable phones in the summer, this year's Galaxy Fold7 and Flip7 are expected to ship with the slightly updated One UI 7.0.1.
The report also confirms that the stable version of One UI 7.0 for older Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24 lineup, is set to be released in April alongside the announcement of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
