Samsung's latest One UI 7.0 Android overlay comes with advanced AI features that offer a more personalized user experience. However, due to the hardware requirements, some of these features will only be available on newer Galaxy devices, leaving older models out of the loop.
One such feature is Now Brief, which utilizes Samsung's Personal Data Engine for contextually relevant information but requires a powerful NPU for processing. On the other hand, features like Circle to Search are more cloud-based and can be supported on older and budget-friendly devices.
While Samsung continues to work on expanding accessibility to more devices, the exclusivity of certain features to newer flagships highlights the importance of keeping up with hardware advancements for the latest AI capabilities.
