On February 20, the much-anticipated Oppo Find N5 will officially launch, and we were fortunate enough to get an early glimpse of this innovative device. Here’s what we discovered during our hands-on experience.

Oppo claims that the Find N5 is the world’s slimmest book-style foldable smartphone when closed. While Huawei’s tri-fold Mate XT may take the lead when unfolded, there’s no doubt that the Oppo Find N5 shines in its folded state.

This foldable device isn’t just about style; it packs a punch in durability. Featuring a tough titanium hinge and a robust aluminum frame, the Find N5 can withstand significant weight—Oppo even demonstrated its resilience by placing a 20kg kettlebell on it. Plus, it boasts impressive IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings for water resistance!

The Sturdy Build of Oppo Find N5
Available in Satin Black and Jade White in most regions, the phone also features an exclusive vegan leather Dusk Purple model that is sure to attract attention in China.
The Satin Black version, as its name implies, offers a smooth finish that enhances its elegant aesthetics.

Exploring the Design of the Find N5
In terms of functionality, the Find N5 follows the design language of its predecessor, featuring a textured mute slider conveniently located in the upper right corner.

Though it’s challenging to convey just how thin the Find N5 is through photos, the proximity of the USB-C port to the edge of the phone gives you an idea of its slim profile, and it's hard to envision how phones can get much thinner while maintaining functionality.
