Beats has unveiled the Powerbeats Pro 2, the latest evolution in its Powerbeats line, designed specifically for fitness aficionados. This new model boasts an updated design, cutting-edge features, and a focus on health monitoring to elevate your workout experience.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 showcases an aerodynamic and sporty aesthetic, featuring a rubberized texture and a new nickel titanium alloy frame that enhances the earhook's durability. Weighing in at 20% lighter than its predecessor, these earbuds promise the best fit yet from Beats. The accompanying charging case has also seen improvements, now being 33% smaller and equipped with Qi wireless charging capabilities. Plus, the earbuds are rated IPX4 for sweat and water resistance, making them suitable for intense workouts.
A standout feature of this model is the newly integrated heart rate monitoring technology. Each earbud is equipped with an optical sensor that measures blood flow in real-time, allowing for seamless interface with various fitness applications and integration with Apple's Health app.

Audio performance has also been upgraded, thanks to custom-designed dual-layer transducers and improved amplification. The transducers are precisely aligned with the acoustic nozzle for optimal sound delivery, while a new acoustically transparent mesh enhances durability without compromising audio quality.
The Powerbeats Pro 2 is powered by Apple’s latest H2 System-on-Chip, previously featured in the AirPods Pro 2, allowing for exceptional active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and spatial audio with head tracking. Additionally, the Adaptive EQ adjusts the sound based on the shape of your ear when ANC or transparency mode are not in use.

Moreover, users with Apple Vision Pro can enjoy low-latency lossless audio, enhancing the listening experience even further.
In terms of battery life, the Powerbeats Pro 2 offers up to 8 hours on a single charge with ANC enabled, extending to a total of 36 hours with the charging case. If ANC is turned off, battery life increases to 10 hours per earbud and up to 45 hours with the case.
Available for $249.99, the Powerbeats Pro 2 will be offered in four vibrant colors: Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange, with a launch date set for February 13.
